“This pregnancy was a little rough for a few months, but my first pregnancy was even harder.”

Chinenye signed up during a standard prenatal visit at HHM Health in Dallas — no new clinic, no new provider to meet.
A blood-pressure cuff and monitor arrived at home, with a glucose monitor where risk calls for one, paired to the app she already had.
Elevated readings went to her care team as they were taken, which is what made quick intervention possible.
“The app gave me peace of mind to know that providers could see my blood pressure and other numbers.”
She was referred to maternal-fetal medicine for closer monitoring and blood-pressure management, and moved to weekly visits.
No-cost rides to appointments, prescriptions she could order, and behavioral health she could reach — after a first pregnancy that brought preeclampsia, depression and panic attacks. Yesenia, her bilingual InovCares doula, met with her regularly before the birth and again after it.

Xavier’s growth improved over the weeks that followed. He was born at 37 weeks, and Chinenye is at home in Dallas with two healthy sons.
